My favorite free-time activities

In my spare time, I have a lot of things to do, which helps me relax after studying.
My favorite activity is reading books. When I was young, I often saw my mother read novels, so I decided to give it a go. Now I read books to relax. I enjoy reading storybooks and magazines because they can take me to different worlds. It not only improves my vocabulary and writing skills but also helps me stay calm and enriches my life.
Besides reading, I also like playing basketball with my friends. We usually play on weekends. It's a great way to get exercise and have fun together. When I play basketball, I feel relaxed and forget all my worries. It also lets me breathe fresh air.
These hobbies make my life colorful and interesting. I really enjoy my free time. I am so glad that I have these wonderful activities to fill my free time.
