As a middle school student, I not only study hard at school but also do some interesting activities in my free time. They can make my life more colourful.
Drawing is my favorite hobby. I often sit at my desk to draw pictures. But I need to take breaks sometimes. During these breaks, I do some simple things to relax and get new ideas for drawing. I like to walk in the park near my home. The air there is fresh and the views are beautiful. I watch birds fly, flowers bloom and kids play happily. These scenes are just like beautiful pictures. I sometimes take a small notebook to draw what I see. This helps me find new inspiration.
Another free-time activity I like is reading books. Reading all kinds of books helps me relax and open my mind. I especially like reading novels. The different characters and wonderful stories give me great ideas. They take me to a different world.
I think it is important for us to have some activities in our free time. They can help us become better people. A life without free-time activities is like a garden without flowers. Let's find the right free-time activities for ourselves.
