Dear Diary,

Today was the most exciting day of the month—our long-awaited school trip to the farm!

We met at the school gate at 7:00 a.m., buzzing with excitement as we boarded the bus. The one-hour ride felt like a minute, with everyone singing and chatting nonstop. When we pulled up to the farm at 9:00, the fresh air, green fields and the smell of warm soil hit us right away.

A friendly farmer showed us around. The best part was digging potatoes in the fields. I got my hands all dirty, but finding round, brown potatoes hidden in the soft dirt felt like uncovering treasure! We laughed and compared our biggest finds, and even learned how vegetables grow from the farmer.

At noon, we ate a delicious lunch made with fresh farm produce. In the afternoon, we played games on the grass, chasing each other under the bright sun. It was pure fun!

By the time we boarded the bus home, the sun was beginning to set. I was tired, but my heart was full of happiness. This trip wasn’t just a day out—it’s a memory I’ll keep forever.
