Today, we went on a school trip to Xibaipo! I was so excited that I got up early in the morning.

 

We met at school at 6:30 a.m. and got on the school bus at 7:00 a.m. On the way, we sang songs and talked happily. After a two-hour ride, we arrived at Xibaipo at 9:00 a.m. The air there was fresh and the views were beautiful.

 

First, our teacher took us to visit the historical sites. She told us many moving stories about the revolution. I learned a lot about how our country developed and felt really proud of it. Then, we had lunch in a local restaurant. The food was delicious, especially the farm-style dishes, and we all ate a lot.

 

In the afternoon, we visited the History Museum. We saw a big map of China, many old photos and precious cultural relics. It was amazing to learn about history with my classmates.

 

At 5:30 p.m., we got on the school bus and went back home. I was a little tired, but I felt very happy. This trip was so meaningful and I will never forget it.
